Velia AI — Terms of Service

By using the Velia app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Velia.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least the minimum age required in your region and able to form a binding contract. You agree to provide accurate account information.

2. The service

Velia creates AI-generated portraits from photos you provide. Features include free sample enhancements, credit packs, and an optional one-time "AI Studio" that trains a personal model from your photos to generate consistent styled portraits. AI output is generated automatically and may vary in quality; results are provided on an "as is" basis.

3. Your responsibilities & acceptable use

• Only upload photos of yourself, or of people who have given you permission. Do not upload photos of other identifiable people without their consent.
• Do not use Velia to create unlawful, harassing, hateful, deceptive, sexual, or otherwise objectionable content, or to impersonate others.
• You are responsible for how you use the images you generate.
• You may report any generated image you find inappropriate from within the app; we review reports and may take action including removing content and suspending accounts.

4. Credits & purchases

Velia uses credits to generate images. Credits and any subscriptions are sold as in-app purchases processed by Apple under Apple's terms. Credits are consumable and are generally non-refundable except where required by law or Apple's policies. Pricing and credit amounts may change; the price shown at purchase applies to that purchase. Velia does not use weekly subscription pricing.

5. AI-generated content

Images you generate are labeled as AI-generated within the app. Subject to applicable law and these Terms, you may use the portraits you create of yourself. You must not present AI-generated images in a way that is deceptive or unlawful, or that misrepresents another real person.

6. Privacy

Our handling of your photos and data is described in our Privacy Policy, including that source photos are auto-deleted within 7 days and that you can delete your account and all data in-app.

7. Disclaimers & liability

Velia is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Velia is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using Velia and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or misuse of the service.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
